Bout of Books 15 Weekend Update

Bout of Books has now come to a close this weekend! This post will be an update for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all together since I was busy all weekend and didn’t get to post an update until now. I did still get to read this weekend though, just not as much as during the week. On Friday and Saturday I read the last 100 pages of Lair of Dreams which I really enjoyed. Look forward to a review on that coming later this week! Today I started reading Passenger by Alexandra Bracken and read 50 pages. I am extremely excited to continue reading this book because just the few pages that I have read have already gripped me and pulled me into the action— I can’t wait to keep reading! How did Bout of Books go for you (if you participated)? What are you currently reading? Keep Reading… Meagan!

Bout of Books 15 Day 4

Bout of Books day 4 has just passed us by and this wasn’t the big reading day I wanted it to be. I still read 100 pages of Lair of Dreams despite school doing everything in its power to have me not read those pages, but I didn’t get to finish the book. I still have about 100 pages left in Lair of Dreams so I’ll finish that tomorrow, but other than that I don’t think I’m going to get to read much tomorrow and Saturday because I will be attending Wizard World Comic Con in New Orleans all day this Saturday so that will be taking up most of my time… How is your reading going? What are you reading at the moment? Keep Reading… Meagan!

If you are curious as to what Bout of Books is click HERE and that will take you to the website, then come back and discuss with everyone! For this first day I read 100 pages of Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray! This is actually really good for me since I had been in a reading slump since about August. I am really enjoying this book— the historical aspect is refreshing and the characters are great! I can’t wait to see where the story goes! I will probably read more later tonight (since I'm just writing this before I put my computer up) and everything I read after this will be counted in tomorrow’s reading count. Are you reading anything at the moment? Are you participating in the Bout of Books Read-a-thon? Keep Reading… Meagan!
