Favorite Series Covers

Image
Hello fellow readers! We’ve all know the saying, don’t judge a book by its cover, and we all know that we break this rule. These are some of favorite series covers (the quality of the book has nothing to do with this list). These covers go brilliantly on your shelf and the covers look beautiful together! While I am not a fan of The Mortal Instruments covers, these are much better capturing the beauty and elegance of the era while keeping the main trio the center of the covers. I am specifically talking about the original covers but I love the new ones too. I was actually not a fan of these covers to begin with but wow they have grown on me! All three of these covers are simple, beautiful, and elegant. These are how you do people covers well! Each cover is a different striking color making them look great together on the shelf. I am talking about the US covers since I much prefer those to the UK covers. All three of these covers are extremely me...

My Top Books!

Hey guys! Today I’m here to discuss some of my Top, You Can’t Go Wrong With These Books, List! The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare This series is amazing and is even better than The Mortal Instruments . I believe that Cassandra Clare truly learned from the small mistakes of the Mortal Instruments series. Plus this book has one of the best love triangles I think I’ll ever read. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken This series is a fast-paced, action packed, nail biting, roller coaster ride of a book. You are constantly on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen to your favorite characters. I’ve already talked about this book in another post HERE if you wanna see that. The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak I recently reread this book for school and it reminded me why me and other people love it. It’s told through the unique POV of Death. And has well fleshed out characters that truly feel real; you can’t help but love all of them. Mara Dyer by Michelle Ho...

Under-Hyped Book of The Week... Week 5

Image
Hey guys welcome to Under-Hyped Book of The Week, Week 5... This week I'm here to talk about Vicious by V. E. Schwab... Victor and Eli started out as college roommates—brilliant, arrogant, lonely boys who recognized the same sharpness and ambition in each other. In their senior year, a shared research interest in adrenaline, near-death experiences, and seemingly supernatural events reveals an intriguing possibility: that under the right conditions, someone could develop extraordinary abilities. But when their thesis moves from the academic to the experimental, things go horribly wrong. Ten years later, Victor breaks out of prison, determined to catch up to his old friend (now foe), aided by a young girl whose reserved nature obscures a stunning ability. Meanwhile, Eli is on a mission to eradicate every other super-powered person that he can find—aside from his sidekick, an enigmatic woman with an unbreakable will. Armed with terrible power on both sides, driven by the memory o...

Top 10 Books of 2014... Finished!

Hey guys it’s Meagan and it’s that time of the year… TOP 10 BOOKS OF 2014!!! YAY *APPLAUSE* I tried to keep these books to books that came out in 2014 (except for one book, but I didn’t hear about it until 2014). And for those who don’t know, I’m revealing these two books at a time. So today I will reveal my 2 and 1 choices! YAY! So sit back and enjoy! My number 2 pick is  The Unbound  by Victoria Schwab This is the sequel to one of my all-time favorite books,  The Archived , so I had high expectations for it. And it well surpassed my expectations!  The Unbound  did everything that a good sequel should do, it had all the things I loved from the first book (characters, an amazing plot, and amazing writing style) and it did them in a new and interesting way. This book also reminded me why I love Victoria Schwab’s books so much (her amazing writing style). Everyone should read this series so they can understand why I love  The Archived  so mu...
