The Rose Society Review

Hello my fellow reader and welcome to… MY FIRST BOOK REVIEW IN MONTHS! *cries* Yeah, I’m sorry that book reviews have been so severely lacking but my reading slump has been extreme and now I have finally finished a book— that book being The Rose Society by Marie Lu! The Rose Society was a book that I went into with high expectation. Even thou gh it had been a year since I read the first one I remembered enjoying it and looked forward to enjoying the second book. Did it live up to expectations… well it was a good one-time read. *shrugs* I have to give The Rose Society credit for actually making me interesting reading again. It basically said, ‘he remember these characters you liked from this The Young Elites? They’re in this book! Come read it.’ And I read it and enjoyed it. Characters that I had grown to love from The Young Elites were in the novel again and I enjoyed reading from their point of view again. It was also nice to read Marie Lu’s writing style again since she ...

Hello my fellow reader! This week I ordered two new books from Amazon that I’ve been looking forward to for a while now and they have finally come in the mail! I’ve been waiting for this book since I read The Young Elites and it is finally here! I am excites to see where the story goes after the last book and you’ll probably be hearing more about this book soon! I didn’t actually know that this book was coming out until I went to BookCon and heard about it, but now I’m super excited. The way Patrick Ness described it sounded so interesting and different and I can’t wait to see how much I enjoy the book. Have you read any of the books mentioned here? What did you think of them? Top 10 Books of 1014... Still Continued

Hey guys it’s Meagan and it’s that time of the year… TOP 10 BOOKS OF 2014!!! YAY *APPLAUSE* I tried to keep these books to books that came out in 2014 (except for one book, but I didn’t hear about it until 2014). And for those who don’t know, I’m revealing these two books at a time. So today I will reveal my 6 and 5 choices, then tomorrow I’ll reveal my 4 and 3 choices, and so on… So sit back and enjoy! My number 6 pick is  In the Afterlight  by Alexandra Bracken Another one of my most anticipated books of 2014, this is the finale of The Darkest Minds trilogy. This book didn’t disappoint. It brought the series back to a slower pace that  The Darkest Minds  had and I really liked it! It had great characters, a great plot, and a great ending! If you haven’t read this series you  really  need to. My number 5 pick is The Young Elites by Marie Lu I’ve been waiting for this book for so long! I love Marie Lu’s Legend series so when I heard ...
