Summer TBR

Summer is quickly approaching and you know what that mean… REQUIRED READING! *cries*

But in reality I’m actually planning to read some good books this summer. Most of my summer TBR is school related but some of it is books that I’ve been looking forward to reading and am finally getting around to.

This isn’t for school and I’m actually reading it at the moment. I’m hoping to finish it before I go on vacation next week and you can look forward to a review probably in early June.

Mr Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan
This is for school but I’ve heard good things about it so I’m excited. I’ve read about forty pages so far and I’m liking it so I hope it continues to be great!

The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini
I actually read The Kite Runner during my sophomore year but now I have to read it again. I don’t actually mind reading The Kite Runner twice because I really liked the book and I think I’m going to like it even more the second time.

A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
After reading The Kite Runner I’ve been looking forward to reading A Thousand Splendid Suns for a while, that’s why I was excited when I saw it on my summer reading list. I can’t wait to read this and see how I like it!

Obviously this is a very basic list of books that I’d like to read. There are some more books that I’d like to read that have been sitting on my shelf for a while now. Stay tuned for my monthly wrap ups to see how my summer reading is going!

    I just picked up Mr. Penumbra's 24 Hour Bookstore cheap from Book Outlet, and A Thousand Splendid Suns is on my TBR list as well. I'm a little intimidated to read Khaled Housseini - glad to hear you enjoyed The Kite Runner!
