The Good, The Bad, and The Spoilers: A Court of Mist and Fury
RHYSAND!!!
Feyre survived Amarantha's clutches to return to
the Spring Court—but at a steep cost. Though she now has the powers of the High
Fae, her heart remains human, and it can't forget the terrible deeds she
performed to save Tamlin's people.
Nor has Feyre forgotten her bargain with Rhysand,
High Lord of the feared Night Court. As Feyre navigates its dark web of
politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms—and she might be
key to stopping it. But only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her
fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future—and the future of
a world cleaved in two.
With more than a million copies sold of her beloved
Throne of Glass series, Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second
book in her seductive and action-packed series to new heights. -goodreads.com summary

the stars and wish, Rhys.’
Rhys clinked his glass
against mine. ‘To the stars who listen— and the dreams that are answered.’”
INTRO
Not much to introduce here! I began reading
A Court of Mist and Fury as soon as I
finished A Court of Thorns and Roses
and LOVED it!
THE GOOD
RHYSAND: AKA MY FAV! Omg this little
cinnamon roll, I don’t even think I can form coherent thoughts about him! He is
just so sweet and perfect that I no longer know what to do with myself.
The Inner Court: AKA my other favs! They
all come from such dark backgrounds yet they find a way to be the most joyful
group of people. The banter and low key relationships are just perfect and I
can’t wait to see how they develop in future novels.
The Night Court: So the Court of Dreams
has become one of my favorite settings. It is just so beautiful, I wish I could
live there. The Court of Nightmares is just as intriguing. While I would never
want to visit, I actually enjoyed seeing the characters visit it.
THE BAD
Ummmm. I'm trying real hard here to think
of something but I've got nothing… I seriously loved this book!
OVERALL
I really loved ACOMAF! The new characters were fabulous (Rhys has become my favorite!) and the plot keeps you reading. The new setting of The Court of Dreams is definitely my favorite and I would love to live there. If you've already read A Court of Thorns and Roses you should definitely read A Court of Mist and Fury! It takes all the great elements from the first novel and improves upon them!
BEWARE! SPOILERS BEYOND THIS
POINT

***THE SPOILERS***
RHY AND FEYRE ARE MATES! While this was
spoiled for me due to the internet (and my own stupidity) it didn't make the Feysand
scenes any less amazing! I love these two and they are perfect for one another!
I need more Feysand scenes in the future because they are FABULOUS!
UGH TAMLIN! Just leave because no one like
you! I feel bad for Lucien because he has to put up with Tamlin.
Nesta and Elain: A part of me loves that
Elain and Nesta are now Fae but at the same time I would love a more human
perspective on the Fae world. This human perspective used to come from Feyre
but then she became Fae and now the same has happened with her sisters… it’s
more of a personal gripe at a missed opportunity so nothing terrible but I
wished it was done differently.
Elise
