Wow 2016 is flying by! April has come bringing us away from winter and into spring and March has flown past. Now we must look over the month of March and wrap up the books that were read. Don’t worry there won’t be any spoilers in this post! I used to have a tradition of reading the last words of books first and, unsurprisingly, this is how I got the majority of books spoiled for me. It wasn’t until I got really invested in the mystery of the Mara Dyer trilogy that I started to not like spoilers, up until that point I had just shrugged off spoilers and not let them affect me. That was a series where I felt that the reading experience was truly altered by having it spoiled and if I could go back and read one book for the first time again, it would be The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer . Recently I was thinking about how I want to reread the Mara Dyer series— these are great books filled with brilliant character development so I thought it would be the perfect series to host a read along for where I could discuss the plot and character development with others as we make our way through each book! Hey guys it’s Meagan and today I’m going to talk about my top 10 favorite Heroes and Heroines... 10.      Clary Fray (The Mortal Instruments) I really like Clary because there are times when she is strong and kick butt. But sometimes I also feel like she just complains a lot. Hey guys it’s Meagan and today I’m here to discuss my top three most changed characters! (Note, these are in no particular order) The first character I’m going to talk about is Mara Dyer from The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin. In my first reading of this series I didn’t realize how much Mara changed, but it was when I went back to reread the series that I noticed how much Mara had changed. Mara went from this seemingly innocent girl who is broken and genuinely wants to get better, to a girl who is (let’s face it) insane and doesn’t give a crap that she’s insane, she’s just done with everyone’s crap. That is such a drastic change and it’s insane to see her character change like that. It’s fun though to go back and reread the first book to see how different she was. The next character I’m talking about is Ruby from The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken.
