It isn’t hard to notice but I haven’t been posting much lately, this goes for on here and on Instagram. To be honest, life has just been super busy. I know, everyone uses that excuse, but it is my senior year so I have to worry about applying to colleges on top of my usual work. I haven’t been reading as much as I’d like to; even though I do usually have a book with me, I don’t get a chance to read much. Around the middle of October I should be able to post and read more. At that time marching season will be over for me (other than football games) and I’ll have more time, I should also be done with applying to colleges soon. HELLO PEOPLE! Guess who’s back? :) I’m finally back from my half hiatus thing and back in the groove of posting! You can expect about two posts a week this week and next week until the week after when I have something special planned that I will go into more detail about in another post. During my hiatus I completed one book (review coming soon) and wrote a few short stories. I am now also almost done with the school year so posts will finally be able to get back to normal (I just have to make it past exams). I have a lot of books lined up that I want to read so I think my reading slump is over meaning that reviews can resume and a summer TBR post will happen soon! Keep Reading… Meagan!

Wow it has been a while since my last reading update so here we are! Ever since I first heard about the idea for this book I knew I had to pick it up! I have started it and so far it is interesting. I am a fan of Patrick Ness’s Chaos Walking Trilogy so I am excited to see what he does with this idea! I am reading this book for my English class but, surprisingly, I’m enjoying it so far! The writing style s very elegant and descriptive so I’m excited to continue reading. This is what I will be reading as soon as I finish The Rest of Us Just Live Here . I have read a few pages already and so far it seems like it will be dealing a lot with the repercussions from the first one and take a lot of time to develop the characters— needless to say, I’m excited! Since I just finished a read-a-thon and just got a book in the mail I figured it's about time for a reading update! So at the moment I'm reading Les Mis  by Victor Hugo! I'm about 150 pages in and I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm excited to get to characters that I recognize from the play and I can't wait to read more! This is doubling as a book haul now because I recently got Scarlet by Marissa Meyer in the mail! This is the sequel to Cinder (which I liked) and I'm excited to read it! The cover is GORGEOUS! Hey readers! It’s time for a reading update! At the moment I’m (slowly) powering through my summer reading books. I’ve already read Miss Peregrine’s once and LOVED it so now that I’m rereading it I’m enjoying it again! I am loving to revisit these characters and these places and I’m excited to finish the book! I am also reading Huck Finn for school. I was not looking forward to this book and still have not gotten far into it, but I’m sure that will change soon! Have you read either of these books? Hey guys it’s about time that I gave you a reading update (I guess this’ll be a monthly thing now). I finished The Knife of Never Letting Go a while ago but I’m just now starting the second book. At the moment I’m about one hundred pages in and I’m excited to read more, I’ve heard great things about this book! I’m starting Les Mis ! After going to New York and seeing Broadway show (sadly I didn’t get to see Les Mis ) I am inspired to read the book that a play was based on. I’m excited to read this book but it’ll probably take a while since I’m going to be reading the unabridged version. Have you read either of the books mentioned above? What did you think about them? Hey guys! Today I’m here with a reading update! Man, I haven’t done one of these in a while! I guess, it’s because I have been in a reading slump for so long, but now I’m reading two good books and I want to tell y’all that I’m reading them. I wanted to read this when I saw the trailer for the movie and it looked great. Then I heard that people involved in the movie are coming to Bookcon (and so am I) so I immediately went and bought this book on my kindle. So far this book has far surpassed my expectations— it is hilarious, fun, and interesting; I think I’ll be finishing it soon. My brother actually bought this book a while back so I had to wait for him to finish it before I had the chance to read it, but now he has given it to me to read and I’m so excited! I really liked Mistborn so I am excited to see where Brandon Sanderson goes with the story! Have you read any of the books mentioned above? What did you think of them?
