Hey guys, welcome to Top 5 Wednesday! If you don’t know what Top 5 Wednesday is then click HERE , if not stay! This week’s topic is (ironically) top 5 required reading books! *In no particular order…* The Pearl I read The Peal back in 8 th grade and despite its dark ending I actually loved the novel. This was the book that made me realize that I enjoy coming of age novels and I’m glad I read it! The Book Thief I knew going into 10 th grade that I was going to reread The Book Thief because it was my English teacher’s favorite book and I actually enjoyed it more the second time! I believe that Cassandra Clare truly learned from the small mistakes of the Mortal Instruments series. Plus this book has one of the best love triangles I think I’ll ever read. The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken This series is a fast-paced, action packed, nail biting, roller coaster ride of a book. You are constantly on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen to your favorite characters. I’ve already talked about this book in another post HERE if you wanna see that. The Book Thief by Markus Zuzak I recently reread this book for school and it reminded me why me and other people love it. It’s told through the unique POV of Death. And has well fleshed out characters that truly feel real; you can’t help but love all of them. Mara Dyer by Michelle Ho...
