Hello! Just an update on my not reading status… Since I won’t be able to read much in these upcoming week I have presented myself with a writing challenge to keep myself from going insane from all the studying I’m doing. Every few days I’ll be trying write a short story based on a prompt I find and completely in one sitting. This means that most of these stories will be very short and left untouched until around the end of exams, when I’ll edit them a little and post them all on here for your enjoyment! Each story will be a very rough sketch of an idea that I had in mind when I was writing it but I hope you enjoy the stories and this idea. Hello and… TIME FOR A WRITING UPDATE! *Cue accomplished music* What I’m working on at the moment is a coming of age story. I’ve been thinking about it for a while and now I have a general three act structure figured out and about 1,000 words written. I’m really excited to continue writing and see where the story takes me I’ll keep you updated! Keep writing… Elise!

Hello my fellow readers! As most of you probably know, for writers November is National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo for short!). This will be my third year participating in NaNoWriMo, and although I don’t normally reach the full 50,000 words, it’s always a good experience. This year I’m doing something different by trying to complete a screenplay for NaNoWriMo. I have the general 3 act structure planned out so far and have begun writing a little. So Camp NaNoWriMo has been going on for two weeks now. How am I doing you ask… well, eh… So far I’ve written 5,000 words some of those words being from a new short story I’m working on and some of them from me adding to and editing my old story Elementa. With that said, I don’t think I’ll make my original 25,000 word goal but I’ve written more in the past week than I had in all the weeks before, so no matter what, I’m glad to have gotten lots of writing done. Hey guys and I’M PARTICIPATING IN CAMP NANOWRIMO! YAY! Yep! As some of you know, I write in my free time, and this year for Camp NaNoWriMo I’m writing out a story that I’ve been outlining for a while. My goal word count is 25,000 words (or really just as many words as I can manage). At the moment I have 2,054 words written but I’ll keep y’all updated as the month goes on! Hey guys it’s Meagan and today I’m here with a writing update!!! YAY! So last night I finished the first draft of my current work in progress! It’s very rough and short but I’m still extremely proud of myself for having finishing this draft. Now I’m going to start going back; adding in a bunch of smaller things that I missed and editing everything. As of now, it’s only 62 pages and I think when I finish editing everything I’m going to post the story on Wattpad for y’all to read! That’s about all for now, I better get to editing! Hey guys it’s Meagan and it’s about time I do another writing update! Well, actually, it’s only been about a month since my last update, but I’ve done a lot of writing in that month. Now I’m at 15,000 words and 50 pages, and I’m almost done with my first draft.  Of course this means that my first draft will be very short (probably around 80 pages because I only have the third act left to write), But this draft is really just a skeleton of the story, so after I’ll go back and add more description to scenes and just more scenes in general to make it longer. Well that’s it for this update! I’ll probably be back with another update when I get into editing. Keep writing… BYE!!!

Hey guys it’s Meagan and today I’m here to do a writing update! So the last time I did one of these I had just started writing my current work in progress which I think I’m now going to call Elementa . Now I have 15 pages and 4,310 words. I am still very confident about this story and am loving writing it! I can’t wait to share more updates with y’all! Keep reading… BYE!!!

Hey guys, it’s Meagan and today I’m here with writing new! *gasp!* I actually wrote something! Crazy, I know! But the truth is, this news is actually just about me finishing an outline, so, not as impressive. But, as stated above, this past week I kind of ditched NaNoWriMo to outline a new idea that has been eating away at me for a while now. So I sat down and started outlining. I sat myself at my computer all Thanksgiving break and wrote. I wrote until I had 7 pages and 3,000 words filling them. Then I felt so confident about the story that I immediately started writing the story and I’m now 600 words in! The reason I wanted to share this with y’all is because, this is the most confident I’ve ever felt about an idea of mine and I feel like it could go somewhere! Hello guys, it’s Meagan, and today I’m here with a NaNoWriMo update! So, the month is almost over and, sadly, I haven’t been able to any updates, but I’m here now! I have been writing through this month, just not as much as I hoped. My current word count is 2,885 words. So obviously I’m not going to make the 50,000 word count, but I’m just happy that I got any words on the page and that I’m making progress in my story!
