Agents of Shield Discussion
If you
can’t tell I’ve been watching a lot of shows lately… But on the bright side, I
recently finished seasons one and two of Agents
of Shield! So you know what that means!
I went
into Agents of Shield with low
expectations. I had heard that the beginning of season one was very eh but then
it starts to pick up. This lead me to be very reluctant to start this series
but exams came around and I needed a reason to avoid work and… here we are!
I do definitely
think that Agents of Shield has a few
low points in its two seasons, specifically towards the beginning of season one
and towards the end of season two. I’m not sure about the fans’ thoughts on
season two, but I feel that season two
started strong but ended kind of weak. I was extremely interested to learn more
about Skye’s father but when you learned about his character… eh. Some things
about him and his motivations were confusing. Then when Skye’s mom was
introduced things just got a little to insane for me to suspend my disbelief.
Now that I
have the negatives out of the way, why don’t we talk about the positives!
Skye was definitely
the character that I was the most invested in. From the first episode I knew I
would love her because she was the fun, not gonna follow your rules character
and she’ll do whatever it takes to get what she needs. Then you find out that
she has the motivation of looking for her parents and I was so interested in
this storyline! I was rooting for her all the way! And then she found her dad…
but I’m gonna stop talking now because… spoilers!
I loved
how there were things in Agents of Shield
that surprised me because I’m hard to surprise in shows but this show always
had me on edge wondering what would happen. Then some characters did some unexpected
things adding great tension to some episodes!
Overall I
enjoyed and had fun with Agents of Shield
despite its flaws. I recommend this show for any Marvel fans or anyone who thinks
I might be interesting!
Keep
watching…
Meagan!
